Mammoth Cave 1999

Coming from Detroit, the Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky is still within reach by a one day car trip. Jun and I spent an extended weekend there in November. The caves always have the same weather, so the season does not matter. We did two guided tours in the cave and had a nice stroll into the forest. The cave really deserves its name. Some of the underground halls are monumental, in deed.
