| Beijing during the winter time can be a bone-chilling experience. Many of Beijing's attractions are seen from the outside, including the Lama temple, the Confucian temple, Tian'anmen Place, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, White Dagoba and the Tiantan Park. The Great Wall at Badaling is particularly beautiful at winter. A weekend in Shanghai left the impression, that China is on its way to become a modern country in giant steps. |
