North Germany 2005

The occasion for this trip was a joined birthday party of my father and my aunt. Jun saw for the first time my parents and my home in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. We then set off for a round-trip starting with the Naval Memorial in Laboe, then driving to Copenhagen, which included a visit to the Tivoli and the new opera house, ferrying over to Lübeck and spending a day in this historic city. Other one-day trips included the Viking Museum in Haithabu, Castle Gottorf, Nordstrand, Hallig Hooge and Helgoland.
