Venice & Florence 2010

Those cities are not that far away from Munich, so we decided for a tour with our car to those destinations. Before we went to Venice, we actually made a 2-day stop in Sand in Taufers for white water rafting and horseback riding. Venice was undoubtedly the highlight of our vacation with the famous Sankt Mark's square, the Canal Grande and it's beautiful palaces. We continued to Florence and spent two days there. The renaissance architecture of this city is impressive. We also drove to Pisa, Greve and San Gimignano in Tuscany and made a bicycle tour through the Chianti region with a visit to a winery. On the way back, we stopped over at the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello.
