Silvretta 2018

The Silvretta area has three major reservoirs for peak-load electricity generation for the European electric power network. We started at the Silvretta reservoir our roundtrip hike to the Saarbrücker Hütte at 2538m. Next day, we climbed the Klettersteig up to the Kleinlitzner peak and hiked across the border to Switzerland to the Plattenjoch. On the following day, we crossed the Litzner ridge and walked along the Klostertal back to the Silvretta reservoir. In the following two days, we stayed in Galtür, did a guided tour on the Jamtal glacier and a Klettersteig tour to the Flimspitz in Ischgl.
